Step Ten - Website
I thought that the background picture did fit in with the theme of my website, so I am just experimenting to see if turning the background picture black and white makes a difference. Howver now I feel the video section stands out too much.
Step Nine - Website
I have now added an on tour section this links in to the tabs at the top of the website. I have added arena's that are local to me and one that is used by many artists. This sections links to the artists blog post and makes the website look functional and professional. As well as the main advertisement been for the artists new album I have also added a section that advertises a new single which I am making the music video for.
Step Eight - Website
I have decided that the title for my video did not stand out enough on the background picture so I changed the text into white. I also added a play button in the middle of the video as you see on websites such as YouTube this makes my website more realistic. To add to the reality of my website and the video I have added a play button, time line and times that are representative of the actual time of my first draft video.
Step Seven - Website
I have now added A video box so the fans who visit the website can have a direct link to the artists latest videos. I have also added a heading to the video just as I did to the blog to keep it continuous and in the same theme.
Blog Article
This is the article I created for my artists blog that appears on the website homepage. I have created very informal by the language used and the symbols such as smiley faces, I wanted it to be informal so it seems as though the artists is having a conversation with her fans. I feel that when looking at other artists blogs they are very personal and give the fans an insight into their lives.
So as I told you in my last post yesterday I have some exciting news …
I guess the title of this post didn’t leave much to the imagination!
WE’RE GOING ON TOUR!!
We are only picking a few venues to start with that have a large capacity so we can have the biggest party as possible ;) Depending on how the tickets sell we may be adding extra dates. I hope you can all make it. I’ve tried to make tickets as cheap as possible so everybody has the chance to come and watch us perform and so everyone has the chance to visit one of these venues and feel the amazing atmosphere that comes with it.
Step Six - Website
I have now added a blog to the website's homepage with a title and dated to make it look realistic. I also have written a small article that at the bottom says that you must sign in to the fan club area which I have seen on some artists websites when I conducted my research. I also changed the opacity of the background for the text so you are still able to see the background picture as you scroll down the page.
Step Five - Website
I have now added tabs at the top of the website to make it look realistic, this is so people who visited the website would be able to navigate thier way around the website and find out more about thier artist and discover new photo's and video's.
Step Four - Website
I have added a background to my website which I will place the features of my website over, when doing my research I found that many artists used this technique.

Step Three - Website
I have now also added text to the bottom bar promoting social networking site were fans can follow the artist and also I have promoted where the fans can buy the album off such as iTunes and amazon.
Step Two - Website
I have now added the text to my top bar of my website, I have also added an area where fans can sign in and become part of a fan club also I have created a media player with a pause, play and volume control, this is so the audience would be able to listen to samples of songs off of the album.
My Artists Logo
I have created a logo for my artist, it's a picture of a bumble bee to link in with artists name. The bee's stripes are a little out of place and different sizes to make the bee distinctive and so the audience link that particular picture to the artist not the animal.

Step Three - Digipak
On my digipak I decided to change the picture of the guitar to black and white to fit with the theme of my album. I was also concerned about the way that the picture of the guitar's body came to a sudden end so I have placed a simple white line to create a divide between the lyrics and also to bridge where the picture stops. I have also increased the size of the text and let some of the lyrics overlap the guitar.
Step Two - Digipak
I thought that on my lyrics page it was a little bare so I decided to use one of the pictures I had edited to fill the gap. However when I took the picture I cut the edge of the guitar of, so I am concerned that the picture does not look right placed there.
