Why I have chosen the style of my music video

As my music video is based on a song that my performer has written herself, I want my music video to represent this. As my performer is singing live on my video I want my music video to be all about the music, voice, lyrics and instruments. I want my video to target people who are genuinely interested in music and it's lyrics. I don't want to cover the truth of the lyrics with fancy clothes and narratives. I think this music video will target bands who are trying to make it in the music industry as they may become influenced by it, and people who play guitar as my video will focus on the instruments and people who have a passion for music and not just mainstream artist. I also want people when watching the video to listen to the lyrics and interpret them to what they want them to say, this is why I don't want them to be distracted by what they see on the screen.
